Favorite wrestling moments: Part 2. The best version of the most electrifying move in sports entertainment! I still fondly remember seeing the Rock live in a 6-man tag match at the Peoria Civic Center…one of the greatest matches I’ve ever seen live! Favorite wrestling moments: Part 1. This is possibly my favorite match ever. Setup: Lance Storm and Chris Candido were tag team partners that didn’t get along. They finally come to blows in a “Dream Partner” tag team match. Candido picked fellow “Triple Threat” member (and ECW champ) Shane Douglas…no one knew who Storm would pick. This match shows him starting out with Candido’s girlfriend, Sunny…but it didn’t end up that way. (PS - The hole in the ring was caused by the previous Taz/Bam Bam Bigelow match earlier in the card.) A lot of this setup may be commonplace to wrestling viewers today, but this was madly innovative in the ‘90’s. I hope you enjoy this semi-occasional occurence. :D
